Just thinking about last week and what was accomplished. Basically I incorporated a few things this time in my weight lost efforts. For one I realized what was not working. They are as follows: The Gym and Starving Yourself and being a phony about it, you know pretending to like it.
I don’t look different. But I feel different. The kick boxing classes at the Phalynx is making a difference.
First of all the gym and exercise is needed. However, it needs to be interesting. I hate doing cardio. What fun is it to stand on a machine and watch TV? It’s boring. Who the hell can stick to that? Also weight lifting just wrecks my body. My joints get ripped up and then I’m done for weeks on end.
So to offset most of that, I gave up weight lifting for now. Now I needed to find something I liked. I always wanted to learn how to fight like the UFC fighters so I joined the Phaylynx gym back in November. Best decision I ever made.
Side note: My diet changed alot. I need more energy in the morning so I juts have fruit or fruit juice in the morning. Then I have my regular meals but have a veggie with each meal. As it turns out I have most of my energy in the morning. Then when I have protein I get sleepy in the afternoon. I’m starting to have second thoughts on high protein meals…..
